GLAM joins in the fight against HIV/AIDS

GLAM joined the fight against HIV/AIDS by participating in the annual Red Show, which is a charity event where all money raised go to help people fight against the disease. We performed in the talent segment a skit and model walk that told the story of a man that had been tripped by a woman and now he needed to go get tested.

The event went off without a hitch. The crowd loved the video and couldn’t believe the story plot. We were awarded a certificate for our participation and look forward to doing it again next year! Check out some pictures from the event below!

SOLD OUT Fashion show!!!!

GLAM hosted their first fashion show to a sold out crowd in the University Grand Ballroom. The show was nothing less than spectacular. It was a 2 hour show that featured more than forty of GLAM’s own fashion model, a collaboration with Southern Illinois Carbondale established modeling team “Envy”, and performances from Boyz Of Poison and more.

The highly anticipated show was more than a success. Attendees of the show described it as “nothing short of amazing,” and “I didn’t know what to expect next. Great job!”

We would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us on this night. Without you all it wouldn’t have been a success. We worked long nights and weeks to bring a special show to this campus. On behalf of GLAM thanks again once more!

This Photo-shoot was the promotional photo-shoot  for GLAM’s “Haunted Takeover” Fashion show. With this shoot we wanted to bring a spark of sexy, an array of fashion and a huge amount of Scary. The shoot took place on the campus of Eastern Illinois University. We used over twenty models from our roster of fifty.  The models arrived at 8:00 AM on a Saturday morning.

The received celebrity attention by getting their hair and make-up done by our team of talented make-up stylists. Our team made looks of angels, fairy’s, skeletons and so much more!  Each model brought a overwhelming amount of positiveness and worked the shoot. On this same day we also filmed the coveted fashion show promo commercial. It was received well and almost has 600 views to date. School Year begins

We can’t even express our excitement for this upcoming year. There are so many surprises in store for this year that people will love. We can’t share them too much but GLAM will be very busy keeping you guys entertained. First order of business we would like to let everyone know that the annual Pantherpalooza will be happening this WEDNESDAY. For those of you that don’t know what the Pantherpalooza is, it gives all current EIU students a chance to meet all the organizations on campus. This is important for GLAM because we are new so we will be in attendance promoting, promoting, promoting! Once again the Pantherpalooza is this Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM so come out and check us out everyone!

Photoshoot!!!!

Hey guys! Just trying to keep you all posted on whats going on with us! We just had a photoshoot which was our best to date! We wore spring colors and put our best fashion foot forward. As this semester ends and summer approaches, we are more than happy to be getting ready to ring in the new year for you guys!

GLAM Gives Back! Volunteer/Charity Work

Hey you guys! Just wanted to update you on the world of GLAM. Today we volunteered at the Life Span center which is a place that helps the elderly take on the challenges of getting older and present them with great opportunities. We participated in the Easter Egg-travaganza, which saw alot of children and grandkids come to visit to participate in a egg hunt, arts and crafts, and take pictures with the easter bunny.

We loved helping out there, and guess who got to be the bunny! Thats right our GLAM vice president Christopher Pearson. He showed that Modeling consists of sometimes having to play a character. The kids loved him and we got to really enjoy ourselves. Take a look of a few of the many pictures we took from the event.
